Koç University Hospital Bone Marrow Transplantation Unit has started to admit patients. The Unit, coordinated by Prof.Dr. Olga Meltem Akay provides advanced healthcare services with state-of-the-art technologies. Spread on 2,200 square meters, the Unit includes a technical area featuring a flow cytometry laboratory, a cryopreservation unit, an apheresis unit, and a clean room, as well as 14 single-patient rooms, each about 30 square meters in size, 2 examination rooms, doctors’ offices, and a medication preparation room designed with transparency principle and overlooking the entire hospital.
